According to your travel time, you are suggested to tour around in the downtown of the city.
There are lots of famous attractive scenic spots, such as Wide and Narrow Alley, Thatched Cottage of Du Fu and Jinli Street. The distance between these areas is close. So you can finish the tour within a day.
I remember that there is a counting down activity on New Year's Eve in CD Happy Valley. You can go and see.
Besides, there are lots of local and delicious foods in these scenic areas.
You can taste Long Wonton, hotpot and Lai's Glutinous Rice Ball. Have fun!
