Chinese visa for researchers

Hello,

I am an Indian passport holder and a Permanent Resident of Finland. I have been awarded a six-month research grant by a Finnish foundation to visit one university in Shanghai. I would like to know what type permitI should apply for and what the fee is for Indian nationals. Please also let me know whether I can apply a multiple entry one for the six-month period. Any other suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks/Sanks

You are suggested to apply for a F type for your research visiting to China.
The fee is 66 Euro if you want to apply for a multiple entries valid for half a month. You are try to apply this type, but it is not assured that the embassy will issue you that. The embassy will issue you a suitable type based on your documents.
