About:Huangshan Travel

I've read and researched that there aren't many routes from the Tunxi Airport to Yellow Mountain.

Does anyone have any recommendations on an alternate route there if I land in Tunxi? (It says its about an hour away from the airport)

Well, you are suggested to take bus 18 and transfer to bus 12 at Hengjiangqiao, and then get off at Railway Station. There are current buses to the mountain from 5:30 to 17:30, which takes about 1 hour and CNY20.

As for hotels, you can stay near Railway Station. Hotels like Yongel Hotel, about 50 meters east to the station, Qiuzhi Hotel, 50 meters south and Jinjiang Inn, about 200 meters south.

Hi, I am plan to visit the Mountain in early Nov17, May I know how frequency the bus from railway station to tangkou station? It cost RMB20 per trip right?

They have no fixed frequency and will leave once all seats are taken. After leaving the railway station, you can easily find the buses near Longyuan Hotel. I remember the bus fare is CNY17 per person.

If you cannot find buses there, it is also find to take bus no. 9 or a taxi to Tunxi Bus Station to take a bus for Tangkou. Many schedules are available there.
