I have a 2 hour 20 minute layover at Guangzhou Airport

Do the restaurants/coffee shops accept Hong Kong Dollars or will I need to exchange for Chinese yuan?

They seem to accept HKD in the duty free stores, because I noticed that the price of some items were marked in HKD. If you wanna buy something outside the duty free store, you'd better exchange some Chinese Yuan.
