About:Chinese Consulate in Montreal

We are transiting in beijing, is it possible to get a transit visa? how much does it cost?

We are transiting 2 times:
- arriving in Beiging (from Canada) Jan 9th 3:20pm, leaving for Vietnam Jan 10th 3:30pm
- arriving in Beijing (from thailand) Jan 20th 8:05am, leaving for Canada Jan 23rd 11:55am.

I heared about 24h and 72h transit
How does it work?
Would it be possible for our time transiting ?

Your first transit is available to enjoy the 24-hour free transit, since your transfering time is less than 24 hours.
Your second transit is not able to enjoy the 72-hour free transit, since your transitting time is around several hours more than the 72 hours. The 72 hours are counted from the scheduled arrival time to the departure time.

You need to apply for a Transit G type with double entry for the two transfering. The fee is 92CAD.
