About:China Visa Fees

I'm on a 1 year student visa and I want to extend, can I?

My visa is expiring in February, but I want to travel around China until May. Is there any way to extend it, or simply go to Hong Kong?

If you cannot provide an supporting letter from the school to extend the X type, it is almost impossible to get the extension. You can go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for consulting more.

You can exit China mainland to HK to try to apply a new single entry Tourist L there. It may be easier than make an extension.
