About:West Lake (Xi Hu)

Is it feasible to take a day tour from Shanghai to Hangzhou or to stay a night at HZ.

Please suggest a hotel at HZ if to stay is better. thank you

Yes, It is feasible to take a day trip from Shanghai to HZ, for there are bullet trains available in between, and the travel time is less than one hour.

If you prefer to stay one night in HZ, I suggest you stay in a hotel near HZ Railway Station, such as the 7 Days Inn, located at No.744 of Jiangcheng Road, or the Home Inn, located at No.125 of Chengtouxiang.
