About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need to apply for a transit visa since I am a Filipino.

I plan of going to Vancouver. My source destination is Hong Kong. Let' say that my flight to Vancouver requires a stop over in Beijing, do I need to apply for a transit G, eventhough my connecting flight in Beijing is on the same day? I don't plan of leaving the airport to tour Beijing. Thank you

Where do you start, HK?
If you fly from HK to Vancouver via Beijing and stay in Beijing for less than 24 hours, you do not need a Transit G. Only your passport is enough to stay in the airport.
