How to get to summer palace from beijing legendale hotel, jinbai street ang back?

Walk west from your hotel onto North Dongdan Street and move forward for around 0.5mi. You can find Dongdan metro station. There take metro line 1 to Xidan, where transfer to line 4 and get off at Beigongmen. It is so close to the north gate of Summer Palace. For the back trip, you can use the same way.
