Walk west from your hotel onto North Dongdan Street and move forward for around 0.5mi. You can find Dongdan metro station. There take metro line 1 to Xidan, where transfer to line 4 and get off at Beigongmen. It is so close to the north gate of Summer Palace. For the back trip, you can use the same way.0
