how to get to tianmo desert from bj

hi!i hope you can help me, i am planning on going to tianmo desert next week and i am struggling to find out how to get there: it says to go to Guanting railway station and from there to get a thirty minute taxi ride to the sand dunes.however, when i researched the station nothing came up.thank you for your help in advance!

The Guanting Railway Station won't help. You can take bus no. 880 (slow bus) at Deshengmen to its terminal station - Overseas Chinese Farmland. Then take a taxi or transfer to the shuttle bus to Tianmo desert.

Oh, bus no. 880 (slow one) totally covers a distance of around 57mi. As it has many stops on the way, it takes around 2.5 hours on the way. For the back trip, it takes the same. Buses from Deshengmen to Overseas Chinese Farmland are scheduled from 07:00 to 19:30 and for the back trip, buses are scheduled from 04:30 to 17:00.

Thank you very much for your help, sorry, another question, could you tell me where is deshengmen and can I get there by subway? I have heard of dongzhimen but not deshengmen. Also if possible are you able to reply to this before Monday as that is when I'm going to the desert thanks so much!:)
