Travelling to Tibet with Chinese friends

Hello,
i plan to travel to Tibet with a friend who is Chinese (has chinese passport). Can I get individual Tibet travel permit since I do not want to be with group.

I am afraid that you can not get a single Tibet Travel Permit if you don't take a group tour.
