About:Visa Policy of China

I will fly into Shenzhen but plan to transit by bus the same day to Hong Kong. Will I need a visa?

I am a U.S. passport holder? I will fly out of Hong Kong. Thank you

If your total transfering time is less than 24 hours, it is not needed. You just need to apply for a stay permit to make your transfering. If it is longer than that, you need to apply a Transit G in advance.
