can i change an airport express ticket from tsing yi station to one from hong kong

Question

I have a return airport express ticket from Tsing Yi Station to airport but I now want to go to the airport from HK station.  Can I upgrade my ticket or do I need to forfeit the ticket and buy new one?

I’m afraid you cannot change the tickets. If your ticket is a single journey one, you cannot upgrade it, So you may need to buy a new one. If you buy the travel pass, you can top up the card and use it like a normal octopus card.
