Which is the best way from Shenzhen to Foshan and back?

It would be best to take the long-distance bus to travel. You can easily catch a bus at Shenzhen Luohu Bus Station or Futian Bus Station. It takes around 3h to arrive.

No, only four normal express trains run between.
