About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I will fly from malaysoa to shanghai airport and go straight to cruise ship terminal...

willl embark to the cruise ship on the same day.... do i need to apply a transit visa for that?

Personally speaking, your total transfering time in China is less than 24 hours, right?
If so, you are able to enjoy the 24-hour free transit and you do not need to have a Transit type for the transfering. If it is over 24 hours, you need to apply for a Transit G in advance.
