About:China Travel Tips

I am from the U.K. Next March I fly to Hong Kong and go straight to Cruise ship on landing.

The ship stays overnight in Shanghai for 36 hours before heading for South Korea and Japan. Fly to Hong Kong for same day flight back to U.K. Do I need a Chinese Visa?

No, you don't need a Chinese visa because you can enjoy the 144 hours visa free policy.
