From BJ to Ulan Bator: by train: it takes about 28hours and cost about CNY1850 for luxury soft sleeper, CNY1723 for soft sleeper, and CNY1260 for hard sleeper. If by plane, it would take about 2 hours and a half. The flight ticket fare changes always, sorry I can’t tell you the precise price. If you start from Shanghai, a transfer is needed in BJ whether by train or by plane. If by train, the high speed train from shanghai to BJ takes about 5.5 hours, cost CNY933 for first class seat and CNY553 for second class seat.
