About:Chinese Embassy in Italy

US citizen, legal resident of Italy needs Z visa

I am an American, have a US passport, but I am a legal resident of Italy. I have a residency permit (soggiorno), Italian driver's license, and a house rental lease. I will be working in China, and all the documents are ready to be sent to me by my employer. Can I obtain my Work Z here in Italy?

Hope you can answer this quickly,
Marina

Does your resident permit has validity of more than 6 months fromt date of application? If so, you can apply in Italy at the Milan CVASC.

Thanks Len. Yes, I have lived in Italy for 10 years. Should I take my expired copies too to Milan? Marina

The expired one is not necessary. Does your current resident permit has a validity for more than 6 months? If it has, your current one is enough.
