We plan to visit the city on 8th - 15th November 2014 . Fly from Jakarta , Indonesia . My mom have some bussiness with supliers at Chaoyamen Shopping Center - Yabaolu district . Can you inform us what the best hostel around that mall to stay for 6 days ? What should we wear on november 2014..winter jacket or what else ? This will be my first visit, and I willing to go to GreatWall , Tianmen Square , Forbiden City ..etc . I want to taste some local foods too .maybe not far from.my hotel . Dumplings , Pecking Duck and chinese noodless...etc . And want ro visit Silk Shopping center too.Please give me sone advise ..where is d best location to start my journey while in BJ ??Txs a bunch for all informations ..

Well, close to this mall, there is a Yabao International Hotel located at no. 19, North Ritan Road. Besides, a Kuntai Royal Hotel is closer to the mall. It is located at no. Yi 12, Chaoyangmen Outer Street, but it costs much more. During that time, it will get a little cold in the city and the temperature would range from 36F to 61F. Cloudy days would be the majority. You are suggested to prepare sweater, leather jackets and thick pants. No down jacket is needed. If you don't want to miss the major attractions in the 6 days, I suggest you join a tour so that they will arrange everything for you. For local snacks, you can go to Wangfujing or Qianmen to have a try. You can easily find a roast duck shop on the Chaoyangmen Outer Street. But to taste the most popular and authentic duck, you should go to Quanjude. The closest one is around 1.7mi, so you can take a taxi to find it.
