About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Hi I have Iranian Passport with Chinese visa ( student resident visa ) and now study in Shanghai.

I intend to go Hongkong & Macao as tourist for less than 7 days. Shall I need apply to visit these two places???

You are right. You need to apply two permits to visit the two places. For the HK's, you need to apply at least 4 weeks in advance and you are suggested to find a local tour agency to help you to get one. For the Macau, you are able to apply it when you arrive there.
