How far is it from Pudong Int`l to Maglev station? Do you need to buy tickets in advance, where?

The Maglev train is between T1 and T2, closer to T2. After landing, there are clear guiding signs for directions, so you can easily walk there, but the exact distance is hard to tell.

No need to book the ticket in avance. Just buy one at the ticket window of the train when you arrive.
