About:

Train ticket from Hongqiao to Hangzhou need to purchase in advance or online?

We will be arriving Pudong Airport on 8 Nov 2014, 5am. Taking shuttle bus/subway to Hongqiao Railway station then to Hangzhou. Do we need to purchase the G ticket in advance for train to Hangzhou since it is on a Saturday.

Many trains are in service on that day, so you are able to get a ticket on your arrival day. Personally, there is no need to book in advance.
