About:Tomb of Puhaddin

If LA is much closer and easier than DC

If I am from Utah but I will be in LA, and would like to get my visa while I am there, since DC is too far away, can I still go and apply in person at the LA consulate and get one there?

You mean you are a citizen of Utah?
If so, you need to go to the consulate in New York for application according to the position. Other consulates in other states may not provide you application service.

You can apply in person or find a agency to help you.
