About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

connecting flights within China

we are flying from Cambodia to Guangzhou, we are 3 hours in CAN and then have a connecting flight to PVG to then connect to a flight for LAX all flights are the same day and we do not leave the airports. Is any kind of visa required?

If so your total transfering time is within 24 hours, right?
If so, it is not needed, because you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy in China.
If it is over 24 hours, you need to have a Transit G in advance.
