Marriage certificate issue. Anyone can help?

Hi,
I am currently in China, my husband is a teacher and has a residency permit of which this employers wish to arrange the same for me. However, they are requesting that our marriage certificate which has the Apostille seal from the Foreign & Commonwealth office be further authenticated by the Chinese Embassy and translated in Chinese. We are unsure where and how to get this done and contacted the British Embassy in Beijing of which we were told they cannot help. Please could you advise us on where to go.

Abbie, I am afraid that you may not get it done in China. You need fly back to get all required documents and apply for it in your own country.

I've done this when i apply for my residence permit. You have to go to the official Chinese translator and have your marriage certificate translated.
btw, I am on a s1 type and my husband is a teacher as well.
