I have HK visa, do i need transit one to KMG?

Hi. I'm a Bangladesh passport holder based in Dubai. I just got my HK visit visa, single entry. My question is do i need a G type if the flight i will take has KMG as stop over? Please advise.

So your route should be Dubai-Kunming-HK? If you transit in Kunming less than 24 hours, you needn't apply for any type in advance because you are eligible for 24 hours free transit.
