usa to shanghai via beijing on hainan. can luggage be booked direct to shanghai?

Do we go through customs in BJ?  How do we get from terminal 2 to Terminal 1?  Is two hours between flights enough time?

If your two flights are operated by the same airlines or you buy the combo tickets, you don’t need to collect the luggage, but you need to go through the imigration. Between the two terminal buildings, there are free shuttle buses in service. And generally speaking, two hours is enough for your transit. Just Hurry up.
