About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Where do I get the Hainan Visa?

I want to travel from the US to HK November 6. After that, I would like to travel to mainland China. If I travel to Guangzhou from HK, where and when and how do I apply for the hainan visa?

Sorry, to apply for Hainan 30-day access, you need to travel directly from a thrid country or region to Hainan, for example, fly from HK SAR to Hainan airport. From HK to Guangzhou, if you are not using 240h visa-free transit, you need a ready visa. With that ready visa, you can travel to Mainland China, Guangzhou and Hainan included smoothly.
