About:Silk Road

why did people go on the silk road for what? how long does it take on the silk road and back?

Savannah, it's a very famous trade route. People can export Chinese products like silk, tea and other products to the Western Countries. In return, they can bring in foreign products like vegetables, fruits, wine and other products too.

The road is about 7000 to 8000 kilometers. In ancient times, I think it takes nearly a year to finish a single trip.

Apart from Silk there was teas, salts, sugars, and expensive goods were traded such as otton, ivory, wool, gold and silver
