Re-entry HK as a Canadian

I am a Canadian citizen looking to move to hk to look for work. If I intend to stay without a visa in hk for more than 90 days, do I simply take a ferry to Macau and back to hk every 90 days for re-entry? Thank you.

According to the policy, it is applicable, but it is not assured that you can be approved to enter at the immigration. To make sure, you are suggested to apply in advance

Since you plan to work, you can go there first to look for a suitabe job. If you cannot find within 90 days, you can leave for Macau for a few days and then back to HK for continuing. Bascially speaking, you may not be rejected to enter this time. But the next time is hard to say. Frequent enter and re-enter may cause you some troubles.

After you find a job, you need to apply for a work type, so that you can stay in HK for a long time.
