About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

technical stop in NKG - urgent please

my itinerary is as follow:
02DEC: Sydney - PEK: 11h30 - 23h25
03DEC: PEK - Seoul: 19h15 - 22h20

on the Sydney to PEK there is a technical stop with no change of airplane in NKG (Nanjing) from 19h30 - 21h20, is this still ok for the 72-hour free transit or the stop is not allowed? thank you!

You may not be abple to enjoy the 72-hour free transit, since it requires the departure flight should be a non-stop one.

Based on the time you provide, you will reach Beijing at 23:25, Dec 2 and reach Seoul at 22:30 and the total time staying in China is no more than 24 hours? If so, you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy. Under it, you can still exit Beijing airport with your valid passport and your onward ticket.
