applying Chinese visa in macau

Hello just want to share I'm Filipino legally working in hongkong and I apply here my 6months Chinese L .and it'll expire on October 24 sooner, I'm planning to get a new one in macau after expiration, Would it be possible? Because we heard from others that hongkong doesn't issue anymore! So maybe i can apply it in macau? Did somebody encountered like this? I need your advice please and thanks....GODSPEED.
