Re-entry on a business visa

I'm looking to stay in China for around 6 months on a business type. I'm hoping to go to Hong Kong almost every weekend. How can I do this?

You can try to apply for a multiple entries for 6 months. Remember to bring enough necessary documents to show that you really need a multiple entries one, because the final entries depends on the documents.

I will be employed by a Canadian company to teach english in China on a Business visa. My girlfriend lives in Hong Kong. Will I be able to cross the border worry free around 30+times for 6 - 12month

Mark, I am afraid that you may not work with a business type. In order to work legally in China, you should apply for a Z type. If you had one, you could apply for temporary resident permit within 30 days after you arrived. With the temporary resident permit, you can exit and enter China as you will before it expires.
