Faye, the silk road strengthens the connection between the Western Regions and Han Royal Court. It laid a foundation for Han and Tang royal courts to set up local governments to administrate the Western Regions.
Thanks to this route, Chinese merchants traded their silk, china wares and other Chinese products for foreign goods. It strengthens the economic exchanges between China and western countries.8
