M visa or F type?

Hello , My name is Sabina Boteva. I have bulgarian nationality and have made an exchange semester in beijing. I have received an invitation to do an internship /gain experience without any payment while being part of the HR team of a language center. I am not going via my university,it is my personal decision. The question is - Can I apply for M type and how shall the invitation be formulated?

For joining an internship, you may need to have a Work Z according to the policy. To get that, you need to have an invitation letter and a work permit from the company. Then you may need to exit China for application.

I should remind you that after you get a Work Z, your current visa will expires automatically. If you still want to use your current one for exchange, you are not suggeste to apply a Work Z. You can treat the internship as a part-time job and then you need to go to school to make an application for that work.
