About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does a 'third country' mean 'Not his home country' or means the third one in a set of fligh

I am Irish passport holder. I am go to fly to Beijing from Seattle and stay in Beijing for 2 days and then fly back to Ireland. Do I qualifies for 72 hours visa-free entry for this trip? Thanks for your help.

It is not always right. According to the policy, it just requires the departure country and the destination one should be two different ones.

For your trip, you can enjoy this policy, because you depart from Seattle and your destination is Ireland.
