About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

I still have the extension of my z visa until next year..

I've finished my contract to my former company and I still have remaining visa up to next year..I'm planning to work again in china for another company...I applied for a new z type in my country but the embassy said I still have one so they cannot give me a new one, instead, I can use my existing one...would it cause me some troubles if I go to china and work for another company using the remaining one of my former company?

Hi, I think your permit resident instead of remaining Z is still in valid, right?
If so, applying a new Z is not necessary. You can use your current resident permit to enter China without any problem. After getting a new contract with a new company, you need to change your work permit and your resident permit just inside China. The new company will guide you to do it.

In general, you need to provide an application form, valid passport, three photos with white background, your work permit, your Valid Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors, the company's registration certificate, an introduction letter from your company and other documents your company needs to prepare. After preparing all these, you can go to the local PSB to apply for a resident permit.

You truely need a release letter from your former company.
For the work permit, you will get a new work permit after you get a new job. So please do not worry.
