Bus to the beginning of the Sacred Way ming tombs

I've seen a lot of recommendations on what bus to take to the tombs. Is there anyone that takes you to the very beginning of the Sacred Way?
If I take the subway, how far is it from Tiantongyuan bei to the tombs? Is it easy to get a taxi there? How much is a fair price?
Is it open on Mondays? (I'm planning to go this Monday)

Hi, to the starting point of the road, you can get off at Nanxin Village by taking bus no. 879. It is around 1.2mi to the road then, so you can even walk there.

No metro can directly takes you to the road directly, so you have to transfer to bus at last. The distance shall be around 27 miles. By taxi, you need to pay around CNY150. The tombs are open on Mondays. Don't worry!
