How much will it cost by air or train and how long will the trip be from Shangai to Guangzhou and FS area as we would like to visit the YQC FS YinQiChen furniture factory.

From Shanghai to Guangzhou, the airfare is a little hard to tell without knowing your traveling date. Just search for the fee on the flight page of this website. By train, the duration is 16hour or longer. It costs CNY201 for a hard seat, CNY367-377 for a hard sleeper and CNY656 for a soft sleeper. I have no idea of this furniture factory you mentioned, but I can tell you that the Guang-Fo metro line can be taken at Xilang station of Guangzhou metro line 1. It will directly take you into FS.
