Hello! Presently am studying in Japan, have a resident permit and would love to travel to china for a business I intend to embark upon. Firstly, is it possible to obtain the visa as a student in Japan?Secondly, what are the requirements and process of obtaining the visa? Thanks!

It is possible to get a business type for a student in Japan. In general, you need to have an application form with recent taken photo, valid passport, your resident permit, an invitation letter and some other documents the officer requires. Since you are a student in Japan, you may need to apply through a local tour agency. So you can ask the embassy/consulate first whether you can apply in person or through agency.
