About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

if I have tourist visa type l for china

and get admission there in china medical university so I am eligible for extend my tourist L to student X
Plz guide me

You may not change your Tourist L to student type in China, based on my information. But you can go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for confirming.

I've dont it, just hand over your passport to the university and they'll take care of it for you but the thing is that they hold your passport for quite long.
