About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Extension of L Visa in Wuxi

Hi, I found this information very informative. However, when I ask the local people around here they dont seem to understand that I can go to the local PSB to fill out the form to request the extension. I am in WUXI and want to know if they can do this?

You need to go to the Exit-entry Administration Division of Wuxi PSB on Second Floor, Exit-entry Reception Hallat No. 56, Chong Ning Road.

To register for resident of a tourist visa, do I go to the same station? I am not staying at a hotel, I am staying with a friend.

Nidia, you need to go to the police station that has jurisdiction in the area where your friend's home is located. Your friend know where the police station is. He/she needs to take his/her Hukou Registration book to accompany you to finish the registration process.

I'm actually working in Wuxi and my work applied for the residency permit for me. Can I use this for my friend to register that she is staying with me? She has a tourist visa and needs to register her place of stay seeing as its not at a hotel.

The resident permit can be used for your friend's registration. Remember to take your passport when registering for your friend.
