Can two people with passport from different countries travel together in the same group>

I'm a US passport holder and planning to invite my uncle from Vietnam to travel to Tibet with me. We plan to apply and join a group as required to travel to Tibet. We will meet in Chengdu first. Can my uncle and I be in the same group even thought he has Vietnamese passport and I have US passport?

They have requirements on the nationalities. Travelers in one group should be the same nationality. So you cannot be go to Tibet with your uncle.
