About:Best Dongbei Restaurants in Beijing

Will be in Xi'an on 17 Oct to 23 Oct. What's the easiest and shortest route up the mountain?

1) What's the best time of the week to visit Huashan? weekend or weekdays? I prefer less crowd.
2) how much time do I need to travel from foot to peak? if using the cable car. I want to see most of the attraction at the top, if possible.
3) suggestion, what time to start at the foot and what time to leave the peak, with sufficient time to take the bus/coach/train back to xian.
3) there is more than 1 cable car station at the foot, which one should I take, for the shortest, easiest climb at the top, without compromising the attractions/sceneries along the way up/down the mountain.

1. I suggest you go there in weekdays, there will be less people.

2. If you hike on foot in the whole journey, it takes about 5 – 6 hours to climb up to the top.
If using the cable car to reach the north peak, you will need about 2 or three hours to reach other three peaks.

3. If using the cable car, you can start at 8 or 9 o’clock in the morning at the foot, and leave the peak about 3pm. The last bus back to city is at 19:00. You’d better arrive at the bus taking spot about 2 hours in advance.

4. You should take the cable car start from Donggoukou to the West Peak. It is easier to get to the South and East Peaks from West Peak compared with the North Peak.
