About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Do I need a visa to get out of the airport if I am from Czech?

I am a Czech national and have a 24hr stopover in Guangzhou.

It is not needed to leave the airport. If you want to leave the airport, you need to apply for a stay permit to leave the airpot. It is no need to tell the airline in advance if your transfering time is just 24 hour. If it is over that, you need to tell the airline in advance.
