About:China Private Visit Visa

Can S2 visa with a duration of 30 days be still extended in Shanghai and how many days is allowed?

Hi I am a filipina who has an S2 with 30 days duration of stay in Shanghai,can I extend it still and how long is allowed? And can I change it to a Z type,hopefully if got a work by any change.

Hey, you can try to extend it at local entry and exit management bureau. Normally, the extension period is no longer than your first duration. So you may get another 30 days extension. But you may not change it into Z type. If you plan to work in China, you should go back to your country to apply for a Z type.

Hi,thank you.
Even if I go to the university I was enrolled and ask for there help to change my S2 to an L and ask for necessary documents just to help me change it ingo an Z type witout going back home in my country?

You can try to ask help from your school, but it is not assured that your university will help you.
