Early reapplication of visa S2.

I hold a S2 cos my husband is working in china. It is due in 22nd oct but it can be extended for another two months. The only thing is when I leave in nov for home leave, I will have to reapply again for my stay in jan. My husband's workplace can extend for me but I have to be in china for the extension. Will I be able to resubmit my application in nov before I leave for home even though the next due date for my type is due on 22nd dec? The workplace will pay for all expenses except if I am back home and have to reapply myself.

You can resubmit your application when you are in your home country for a new S2. After that your current one will expire automatically.

Yes,I know. The company will pay for me if it's renewed in china but if I return n do it I will have to pay myself. My question is can I renew it if there is another month worth of stay? Let's say, due on dec 22nd but I renew it on 22nd nov. Can this be done early?

Hi, Mrs. Lin. It may be impossible to renew it in China. Applying a visa in China in person is impossible, but if you can find some agency, they may help you to do it. However, after a new one is got, your current one will expires automatically.

Even though you can get one in the end in China mainland, it may not be used after you leave China in Nov., if the one you get is a single entry type.

In order to avoid so much troubles, you are still suggested to apply a new in your home country, although you need to pay for it.
