Deactivated Account

Hi! I have a question about deactivated bank account from China Merchant Bank. I opened an account couple years back, but then I never use the account for any transaction. I withdraw most of my balance and left only a very small amount of money there. I need to use the account again now, but I just realized that the account has been deactivated, I can still access my account from the ATM and see my balance there, but I can't withdraw nor deposit any amount of money from and to my account. Do you know if I can re-activate my account or is it impossible and better to open up a new account? Many thanks in advance!
