Hello my name is Hook and I am Thai national. I want to Visit Ningbo ; I have a friend in NIngbo, I want to stay in Ningbo for 2 months can you guide me, I have some question as under below:1)  Should my friend send me invitation letter which he mentioned arrival and departure time for 2 month? E.g., 2014-11-01 to 2015-01-01 or 1st he just mentioned date within a month (L type Visa) E.g. 2014-11-01 to 2014-11-29 and later I apply for an extension for next 30 days.2) For L type I should have a return ticket but I am confused either I should book my return ticket for 2 month or  within one month later when I will apply for an extension then I change my ticket according to extension. 3) Please tell me the Valid phone number Immigration Office in Ningbo. Hook, the invitation letter should include when you arrive and when you depart. With the invitation letter in hands, you needn't provide hotel booking and return air ticket when you apply for the L type. This is the tel of Ningbo Entry and Exit Management Bureau. Tel: 0574-87758210

Dear Owen, thanks for your reply ,  as per my Information L type is valid for 1 Month but we can extend it for next 30 days . That’s why i mentioned that i will stay in china for 2 months, before 30 days i will apply for extension, it will be in total 60 days(2month) .For L type when we apply the office required .we need to provide return E-ticket copy, as i will stay with my friend so i don’t need for hotel booking . I see. I don't know if your friend is a Chinese or a forienger. If he/she is a Chinese, you just need to provide his/her invitation letter and a copy of his/her Chnese ID card instead o air ticket and hotel booking when you apply for the L type. If he/she is a foreigner, his/her invitation letter and a copy of his/her passport and visa are required.
