About:How to Buy Tickets

Booking train / flight tickets?

Hi
We are planng to backpack in China next year in begining of September.
How many days in advance do we need to book rail / air tickets to be sure that we will get a ticket?
Is it forbidden to smoke on trains/planes or is there a smoking section?

You'd better to book the tickets are least 20 days in advance since the tickets will be available at that time. But the railway tickets can nit be 100% guaranteed since they are always under great demands. But the flight tickets can be confirmed soon after the payment.
You can not smoke on the D or G trains, but the smokeing section canbe find on the normal trains.
